Learning basic management: self-management

In broadest term, our activity can be categorized as the process of input conversion to output. Input can embrace five aspects, commonly abbreviated as 5M; Man, machine, material, method, and money. On the other hand, output could be come goods and service (including decision making).

Theoretically, one basic management process applied is in short known as POAC, which refers to Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling.  Each phase can be described as follows:

-      -     Planning : the phase where we determine final desired output in Time, Quality and quantity framework
-         Organizing : the allocation of input in line with the planned target
-          Actuating: implementation phase. Motivating and  bracing up are factors that will affect the performance success
-       -    Controlling : input to output gap analysis in order to take necessary corrective action for the process betterment

Each pictures depict basic management simulation done by coaching attendee of basic management program. Each group which consisted of 5 persons is asked to build a miniature of tower. See how much enthusiasm they are, right?
